This page describes the Genealogy
of the Hebing (Hebinck)
family, descendend of Heinrich Hebing,
born in Bocholt around 1650.
Heinrich Hebing (1) lived on the Klein Hebing
farm in the neighbourship Mussum
in the Siegerheide, located west of Bocholt in
Germany.
His son Theodor Hebing, *1673 (1.1) took over the farm after the
death of his father.
When Theodor Hebing
was widowed he married for the second time and moved to the farm Scholt’ Blecking in Anholt.
The spelling of his name changed
into Theodor Hebinck.
His brother Gerhard Hebing
*1676 (1.2) continued the Hebing line on Klein Hebing in Mussum.
The Hebing’s
lived on Klein Hebing until the death of Katherina Hebing in 1948

Theodor Hebinck (1.1) started the Hebinck line on Scholt’ Blecking in Anholt when he
married Elisabeth Schievelkamp.
His son Peter Hebinck (1.1.11), born around 1715, took over the farm.
The descendants of Peter continued
the Hebinck line on Scholt’Blecking probably until
ca 1960, see

Several decendants
moved to the Netherlands, see chapter 1.1.11 Netherlands
Bernhard Hebinck (1.1.15)
continued a collateral line see
chapters 1.1.15.Germany and 1.1.15 Netherlands
Descendants from Bernhard farmed
on Huexhorst, Grafenstätte and Groß Nergena.

USA
Bernhard Hebinck, (1.1.15.1.3.1)
left Europe with his fiancé Walhalmina Nienhaus, from Le Havre and arrived in New Orleans on 14 May 1949 aboard the
ship Narrgansett.
Bernards sister Bernardina (1.1.15.1.3.4) arrived with her husband Johann Könning
in the USA probably in 1854.
Johann Hebinck (1.1.15.1.3.3) and
Wilhelm Hebinck
(1.1.15.1.3.10) arrived in the USA in 1857/1858.
Upon their arrival they moved to Davenport in IOWA, where a great
German population was settled, with even a German newspaper.
Johann Hebinck appears on the 1870 cencus as John Hebinck in
Liberty township, Dubuque County, IOWA and is working as blacksmith.
By
1880 the family appears in Clinton County, IOWA and the spelling of their
last name changed into Habinck.
Bernhard Hebinck (1.1.15.1.3.2.2))
left Antwerp in Belgium, aboard the SS
Nederland and arrived in Philadelphia on 1 December 1873
Elisabeth Hebinck (1.1.15.1.3.2.3)
arrived from Rotterdam in New York aboard the SS Rotterdam on 7 March 1882.
Dorothea Hebinck (1.1.15.1.3.2.7)
came to New York through Bremen and Southampton aboard the SS EMS on 11 March
1891
Bernhard Hebinck (1.1.15.1.3.7.1)
and Heinrich Hebinck
(1.1.15.1.3.2.8) arrived through Rotterdam in New York, together with Willem Brus,
on 26 August
1892 aboard the SS Werkendam.
