Bernardine Hebinck, was baptized in Anholy (Germany) 04-03-1829, daughter of Bernhard Hebinck and Adelheid Fendrich. Her godparents were Joannes Veendrik and Gesina Tomberg. She was married to Johann Könning in the St. Pancratius Church 14-02-1854; witnesses were Anton Hebinck and Dorothea Könning. Johann was born in Anholt (Germany) 04-10-1826 to Johannes Bernhard Könning and Johanna Leyen. He was a farmer and a neighbour of the Hebinck family. Bernardine and Johann immigrated to the USA ca 1854 and settled near Lyons, IOWA where Johann farmed. The family moved ca 1863 to a 71 acre farm south of Richmond. Bernardina and Johann are buried in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery located east of Richmond, IOWA
