This web site describes a part of the history of the

He(e)bin(g)(k)(ck)

Family, from the first documents in 1315 and 1334 up to the modern times

The members of this family  lived original in the eastern part of the province Gelderland in the Netherlands and

In the western part of Westfahlen in Germany

Versions of the name:

Habinck

Up to 1900 the name was mainly found in Varseveld, Silvolde, Dinxperlo and Genderingen

in the Netherlands

and

Bocholt, Anholt, Isselburg in Germany

Around 1850 and 1885 several Hebinck’s emigrated tu the USA

Quite a number of Hebinck’s are also found in the north-west of France

In 1995 the following Hebinck households were located:

USA, mainly in Texas:  10 households, 22 people

The Netherlands, mainly in Gelderland: 35 households, 88 people

Germany, mainly in Westfahlen: 20 households, 50 people

France, mainly in the north-west:  28 households, 78 people
